| Financial Donation for the Earthquake Victims in China | |

Through his humane
nature, Mr. Pung Kheav Se, President & CEO of Canadia Bank Plc., initiated a
fund raising drive through The Commercial News, a local newspaper in the country,
to spread the awareness and willingness to help the victims of the earthquake that
shattered China especially the Sichuan Region who suffered the worst hit last 12
May 2008, which ended thousands of lives. These efforts had been effectively managed and participated by the Chinese community here in Cambodia, who unselfishly gave their financial donations, plus the shares coming from the Staff of |
| The Commercial
News, through the determination and strong leadership of Mr. Pung, thus resulting
to financial donation in a sum of US$61,987.67 coming from the said individuals
collectively. A simple ceremony has been done in handling over the financial aid from Mr. Pung ’s group to the Chinese Government represented by H.E. Zhang Jin Feng, the Chinese Ambassador last _______________ 2009. The said event has been graced by the presence of Chumteav Hun Mana who presided the ceremony. |
