Information for Auto Paid Cardholders
Thank you for being a loyal Canadia Bank Credit Cardholder. The smart choice to pay your outstanding monthly card balance is the “auto pay debit method ”. However, not following up between the bank account and the Credit Card outstanding balance can eventually lead to unnecessary financial charges. Therefore, please read below important factors to be considered to avoid related interest, charges and fees:
  • It is the responsibility of all cardholders with Auto Pay option to maintain sufficient account balances in their bank account (related to the issued Credit Card) to cover at least the outstanding Credit Card balance. If the related account balance is below the current outstanding balance in the Credit Card statement, the situation of “late payment” will occur.

  • In case the card holder does not have sufficient funds at the auto pay date, he/she will still be able to deposit additional funds into the respective account until the “late payment date”. From this day the account is subject to unnecessary finance charges. The Credit card holder needs to inform the card center staff about any deposit between the “ auto pay date” and the “late payment date” to ensure that the bank staff can process the settlement of the outstanding Credit Card balance on time.

  • Cardholders are responsible for paying all finance charges related to not sufficient funds in their bank account.
This memorandum including the rules and regulations about “Auto pay” and “late payment” is legally accepted with the date of signing the receipt of the respective Credit Card.

Information for our Credit card users
Congratulations for being a valuable credit card user of our bank! To avoid unnecessary trouble caused by stolen or misplaced cards, we like to draw your attention on the following guidelines:
  • Once receiving your card, you are fully responsible for all transactions of your credit card. A credit card can be easily turned into cash
  • To prevent fraudulent usage of your credit card, the bank recommends cardholders to avoid using their card through e-commerce. If it is unavoidable, you should select only secure and well-known websites because suspicious e-companies can use your card information illegally for future misuse
  • It is essential to keep the card number and other confidential details secret to avoid that people around you may note and use these details fraudulently
  • Be cautious and alert when using the credit card at suspicious places. Your card can be skimmed copied without your knowledge
  • The bank’s Card Center staffs may contact you to check some suspicious transactions on your card account. When our call cannot get through, the staff will send you a SMS to which you should respond as soon as possible (the respective bank contact telephone number is printed on the back of the card)
  • When you notice doubtful transactions on your statement, please call the Card Center hot line number (855-23-215-085, 24 hour service) for investigation
  • Under any circumstance, your PIN number must not be revealed to anyone including bank staffs. You must immediately call the Card Center hot line number whenever you suspect that your PIN has been compromised, or you can change your PIN at any of our Bank's ATM as soon as possible
